About the Book 
Serra is a young child who loves staying at her Gramps' old home near the forest. Far from the city, she is nourished by natural surroundings and enjoys sketching her discoveries. Although gramps is gone, Serra discovers that his words and teaching are with her still. 
 
Accompanied by Crazylegs, a small mouse, Serra has had many adventures along woodland trails. In this story, she makes a frightening mistake and loses something very special. She returns something magical, receives a priceless treasure and spends a dark night alone in the woods.
